Our team

Anthony is non-executive director at Orea Capital and chairman of the Board.

He has over 20 years of experience in financial and tax matters and is currently Managing Partner of a Belgian financial and tax consulting firm. Previously, he was director at KPMG where he was in charge of the business lines “Financial Services” and “Real Estate”. During his career, Anthony advised and/or audited numerous financial institutions.

He is also lecturer at the Antwerp Management School of the University of Antwerp where he teaches amongst others on the taxation of financial instruments and real estate.

Anthony holds a Master in business engineering, option finance, as well as a Master in tax law of the University of Leuven.

He is married and has 3 children.

Jacques started his career as a Lawyer in Belgium.  He was also lecturer till 1991 at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.

In 1986 he joined Banque Indosuez Belgium and moved to Banque Indosuez Luxembourg in 1989.  In 1991 he became qualified officer and board member of Banque Indosuez Luxembourg as well as board member of various national and international entities of the Credit Agricole Group.

He was chairman of the board of Credit Agricole Luxembourg Conseil and Credit Agricole Luxembourg Courtage and board member of various mutual funds and the wealth management company of Credit Agricole Indosuez Wealth.

From 2014 till 2017, Jacques Mahaux was member of the executive committee of Credit Agricole Indosuez Wealth (Holding) and was in charge since 2012 of Estate Planning Global of the group Credit Agricole Indosuez Wealth.

He was also a member of some decisional commissions (tax and pension funds) of the ABBL (the Luxembourg banking association) and the CSSF (the Luxembourg prudential authorities).

Jacques holds a Master in Law and a Master in Economics from the Université Libre de Bruxelles.

Alain started his career at Banque Bruxelles Lambert (BBL) in Belgium in 1994 and moved to ING Luxembourg where he was private banker, head of UHNWI (ultra-high net worth individuals) desk and head of all relationship managers including the UHNWI.  In 2014 he joined a single family office, where he is in charge of the investment policy and the cash flow management, as well as the coordination with the international banking partners, major law firms, fiduciaries, ensuring the corporate governance and the tax compliance.

Alain holds a Master in business engineering from the UCL and a Master in tax from the Solvay Business School (ULB).

Laure holds a degree in Germanic Studies from the University of Louvain (UCL), a master in International Relations from the University of Leuven (KUL) and she is a member of the Private Banking Association. Laure joined Orea Capital in july 2020 after managing a project within Korys (Investment vehicle of the Colruyt family) for a year. Prior to Korys, Laure worked nearly 20 years in the wealth management sector at CA Indosuez, UBS and Lombard Odier, where she worked both as a private banker and as an investment advisor.

She likes to travel the world, play golf and tennis and enjoy good moments with family and friends.

Olivier joined Orea Capital to lead the firm. As Managing Partner he oversees the strategy and growth of the firm into a niche player in wealth management in Luxembourg.

Olivier started his career in 2001 at Rabobank Luxembourg.  In 2004 he joined Credit Agricole Indosuez Wealth Management as private banker and was later one of the founders of the UHNWI (ultra-high net worth individuals) department at Credit Agricole Indosuez Wealth Management Luxembourg.

Olivier has a degree in accounting with a specialization in tax and followed several executive programs at INSEAD (Singapore/Fontainebleau) and Neyenrode University (the Netherlands).

Olivier is married and has 3 adorable children.

Christophe is Head of Operations of Orea Capital since 2013 and is responsible for all back-office operations as well as accounting.

He joined the firm in 1999 as administrative assistant and has since contributed in several roles to the growth of the firm.

Christophe is graduated with a degree in Marketing and Management and a degree in Accounting.

He is married and has 3 children.
